Repairs

 

 This clay flying lady has hit the ground many, many times in her life. But I love her and refuse to stop trying to put her back together. The plate came to me in 17 pieces, and every where she had called for repair told her to trash it and buy another one. But there was sentimental attachment to this particular Looney Tunes plate. I recognize that and can work with that. If you look closely you can see that the coyote's one eye was missing and that the finish isn't exact, but considering that no one else would even try, we both were happy with the end result.

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

I can fix anything that can be soldered, like this little silver plate bowl that had lost it's handles.

There's a plethora of items that I can fix. Some things like windows or lamps are expensive enough or necessary enough that they need to be fixed. I can do leaded windows at your house without taking them out. It's an extremely time consuming process, and a real pain in the bum, but it has to be done if your neighbor kid shot at your house, or your dog ran through the window trying to eat the mail man. Both of those things I've seen, and fixed.

There's at least 5 different ways to make stained glass windows and lamps, and I can fix all of them, including the pseudo leaded epoxy. Prices vary depending on the method used and the glass involved. Send a picture and I can give you an estimate.

But also if you have jewelry that doesn't fit right, or came apart. Or something special that you treasure and hate to throw away, I can usually put it back into service.
